Mint Julep

Bring water to a boil and pour over the leaves.  Stir in sugar and let cool.  Add lemon juice and strain.  Add club soda and bourbon just before serving. Off to the races!

Ingredients

  • ½ cup water
  • 4 TBS chopped mint leaves
  • 2 TBS sugar
  • sprigs of mint as garnish.
  • juice of 1 lemon
  • 1 cup club soda
  • ½ cup bourbon
